Sales Asset Manager (SAM) The SAVO Group is a venture-funded start-up with a hosted business web application (SaaS – Software as a Service) enabling companies to manage, access, and customize their sales / marketing materials online. In 2005, training consisted of a different "show and tell" each time a client had a question - or a new client came on board. Phil Thompson, now owner of cognog, created a hands-on curriculum comprised of classroom, webinar, and on-demand options. Phil created an arsenal of options that delivered consistent, modular yet customized training for client software administrators based on how the client needed to implement SAM. After turning instructor led delivery to another person, Phil joined the product development team to help design a new, more collaborative web 2.0 version of the software. His role was to ensure that software was designed in a way that would require no training. |
