don't make me read Marriott Diversity Course Marriott recognized that cultural and language barriers between employees and in guest interaction had an adverse impact on business. Their goal was to increase cultural understanding and communication, and to teach relvant phrases in six different languages. Marriott hired our client, OmniTech Consulting Group to deliver a self-paced course that was simple to navigate, containing content in a form that could be absorbed by employees with only a marginal understanding of English. We developed the concept of a game-board style interface which would allow a person with little computer navigation experience to "see where they stood" as they progressed through the course. We created and introduced a visual vocabulary of abstract concepts that were repeated and built upon through the animated sequences in the course. News article
